Purchase the textbook
Why two separate options?
The two platforms serve different purposes: Amazon takes a bigger cut of what customers pay (around 60% versus roughly 40% on Lulu) but it's where people actually discover books, check reviews, and can purchase in a click. Lulu is an independent platform, keeps more of the price for the author, and ends up cheaper for the customer, but it doesn't have Amazon's reach or visibility. Amazon is for discovery and trust signals, while Lulu is for anyone who'd rather support an independent channel and pay less. I chose to give both options for readers to choose what matters to them: price and independence, or convenience and reviews.
